Background

 A1 Fire and Safety Pty Ltd is is an organisation providing emergency response and safety training. Our primary training facility is located at Morningside, in Brisbane, Queensland.

Our company operates throughout Queensland and interstate. Currently we specialise in training in three major areas:

-  Fire protection industry recognised qualifications (Certificate II in Asset Maintenance);

-  Fire Safety Adviser qualification for 'high occupancy' buildings in Queensland;

- Industry / client specific Fire Response Fire Fighting Equipment / Evacuation training

Quality Assured

We ensure that we maintain our compliance as an RTO (Registered Training Organisation) under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).

Our company has implemented a comprehensive system to meet the licensing requirements under the AQTF and the QBSA. A1 Fire and Safety is audited annually to ensure that our operations meet strict quality assurance requirements. We utilise the AQTF framework to demonstrate our strong commitment to continuous improvement i the delivery and assessment of our nationally recognised training courses.

Issue of Certificates

All certification and Statements of Attainment are issued in accordance with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF). On successful completion of a course at you will receive a certificate that states the competencies that you have achieved, and the date that you completed the course.

Recognition of Current Competency

 Recognition of Prior Learning caters for recognition of learning that may have occurred previously where you believe that you already hold the relevant competencies. On reviewing any material submitted by a student our Assessors must ensure that you are assessed against the relevant national units of competency and performance criteria. Students must be able to meet the performance criteria specified in the relevant training package for RPL to be approved.

An evidence submission will need to be prepared and submitted by the student and may include previous certificate, current and past employer reference letters, work samples, etc. Please contact us for further information.
