In Queensland this qualification is the endorsed qualification for a number of different fire occupational licenses. Students are required to complete eight (8) 'Core' Units and an elective bank (minimum of 4 units) to receive the Certificate II qualification. QBSA licencing: Click here
Delivery Mode
Core Units - Flexible / Distance Learning (includes 1/2 day practical assessment). Learner pack is sent to student on CD with learning and assessment materials.
Elective Units - Face to Face (very hands-on workshop & field instruction/assessment of your competency).

A1 Fire and Safety Pty Ltd (RTO No. 31910) has registered its Asset Maintenance qualification to meet the need of occupational licensing within the fire protection industry in Queensland. It is our view that 'national' occupational licensing will fast descend upon other states and territories in coming years. NSW is currently examining occupational fire licensing for the state - refer to item 5.1(iv):
